Wellness Centre

We have a beautiful spa offering a high individualized selection of treatments to help restore your body’s natural balance and soothe away stress. Book early to avoid disappointment.

        Horse Riding & Pony RidesChampagneCastle7

Daily rides for all levels. Champagne Sundowner rides. Pony rides for children.

Animal farm

Animals for children to touch and hold but fun for all! Billy boats, rabbits, lambs, etc.

Aviary

We have aviaries with a wide variety of birds including parrots. Corrie is our resident blue-fronted Amazon at Reception who loves to talk and inter-act with people, especially children!

Trout fishing

For the keen fisherman or novice. We have three well-stocked dams . Permits are available from our shop per rod per day. Guests can bring their own rods or hire one from the shop. Bag limit of 2 fish per rod per day. Strictly fly-fishing only. Our chef will gladly prepare any trout caught for your dinner should you be staying in our hotel rooms.

We have table tennis, a pool table and a soccer table. An equipment deposit is charged to your room for the bats and pool cues. No charge for the 1st hour. R15 per hour thereafter. The balls for table tennis need to be purchased @ R5 each. Please note that only over 16’s are allowed to play pool.

Board games

These are available from Reception. An equipment deposit is charged to your room. No charge for the first 2 hours. R15 per hour thereafter.

Darts

There is a dart board in the Bar (strictly no under 18’s). The darts are available from the Barman.

Outdoor chess

This is situated in the garden near the swimming pool.

Swimming pool

Swimming towels are provided on each lounger (weather permitting).

Big 5 Hikes

Self-guided walks

Obtain a map and further information from Reception. Please ensure you allow enough time to complete the walk prior to sunset. Please sign the walking register at Reception.
